Mudanças means changes. The music on this recording reflects some of the changes in my own way of playing and thinking about music as it interacts with the developments in my personal life. It's been a constant process, continually manifesting the qualities of newness and growth, challenging and stimulating me to move beyond my current definition of self. Moving from habit to intuition, or tradition to innovation, it's nothing less than the transition from being to becoming - a moody dance of spirits and energies creating a Vuja dé kind of experience: something never quite encountered before.
